Did you know that Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was first found over 80 years in 1941? Yes, it truly has been over 8 decades since the grand opening of our barbecue concept restaurant. Our original BBQ pit was opened in Dallas, Texas and is still in business today! Travis Dickey and his wife Ollie Dickey opened up this local BBQ joint to share their love for some LEGIT. TEXAS. BARBECUE. and their authentic family recipes. It was not long before we received love and support from locals, and we started to spread our BBQ menu across the DFW metroplex.
