OMAHA BARBECUE RESTAURANTS

Omaha loves its barbecue, which is why it loves Dickey’s. Our slow-smoked, Texas-style favorites make us unique among this city’s other barbecue spots, and we’re proud of that fact. We’ve been at the top of the food chain here and throughout the world for more than 80 years, and for good reason. With more than 500 locations worldwide, you better believe we’re at the top of the heap. If you haven’t tried our ribs, brisket, spicy cheddar sausage, marinated chicken or wings, you just haven’t had the best BBQ in Omaha.
When you feel the need for BBQ in Omaha, we give you a lot of ways to satisfy your hankering. There’s nothing better than ordering some of your favorite barbeque after a day exploring the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, strolling through Old Market or enjoying a Creighton University sporting event. Just stop into one of our barbecue restaurants for dine-in, carryout or curbside service.
If you’re catering a big event or just want to bring the good taste of Dickey’s home with you, it’s easy to order BBQ online through our website or app. No matter how you do it, you’ll get the same Texas-style barbecue and homestyle sides, plus desserts and drinks. You also can sign up for our Big Yellow Cup Rewards program and earn points toward free food in the future.

WHAT IS TEXAS-STYLE BBQ?

This is a topic of much debate, as you can imagine. Seemingly every barbecue joint in Texas and beyond will tell you theirs is the only way to do it. What those other places won’t tell you is that there’s a reason Dickey’s has taken our formula all over the globe and earned rave reviews everywhere we go. We start with slow smoking all of our meats every night in a hickory wood pit overseen by certified Pit Masters. But it doesn’t end there — we also treat them to our special spice rub and sauce to give them the one-of-a-kind taste that’s made us famous. We opened our first restaurant in Dallas in 1941, and we’ve been smoking ever since. Taste our dedication to quality for yourself by placing an order or finding the location nearest you on our website.
