<p class="MsoNormal">As tragedy struck the town of Altoona after a Pennsylvania

State Trooper was killed in the line of duty, the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is his hometown of Altoona did what they could to give back to his grieving family.

Owner/Operator Jay Rhodes held a fundraiser for the family of Landon Weaver, donating them 20 percent of Saturday’s sales. Rhodes also donated 100 percent of t-shirt sales to the Because We Care Foundation.

This example of kindness and support of the community is exactly what Dickey’s stands for and we are proud to have Rhodes as a part of our family.
