Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Inks Four-Store Development Agreement To Mark 100th Location in California

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is excited to announce plans to open its 100th location in California. As the nation’s largest barbecue chain, Dickey’s already operates over 530 locations across 43 states, making it one of the fastest-growing franchise concepts in the country. After Texas, California has the most Dickey’s locations, with new stores opening every week across the state.
Owner-operators Michael and Margarita Tucker, who currently own the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in La Quinta, have signed a development agreement to open three additional locations in Indio, Moreno Valley, and Redlands in 2016. Michael Tucker, an award-winning entrepreneur, is also the owner of multiple 7-Eleven franchises, where he won the prestigious Retailer Initiative Award for three consecutive years. Tucker shares, “I’ve been a business owner for most of my life, but the support I receive from Dickey’s makes all the difference. Dickey’s is not only a fun and happy place to work, but it also has the systems and processes in place to support franchisees and is committed to our success.”
