The nation’s largest barbecue chain has big plans in the works for Cincinnati.
Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. has signed two agreements with Greater Cincinnati franchisees Kevin and Randy Daniel to create 13 total stores in Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
The deal is one of the largest development agreements ever made in the company’s history and will effectively double its footprint in Ohio as it grows from five existing locations.
The Daniel brothers are already owners and operators of stores in Mason and South Lebanon. They’re working on opening a third location and originally planned to open five Dickey’s restaurants but
have now decided to own the entire market.
Dickey’s has more than 500 locations in 43 states and has been growing rapidly through franchisees. It has been recognized by Nation’s Restaurant News as a top 10 growth chain and Technomic as the
fastest-growing restaurant chain in the country.
