<div>View the full article <a href="http://www.macombdaily.com/general-news/20171004/eatery-offers-50-percent-discount-to-first-responders-friday">here</a>. </div><div><br></div><div>Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations in Macomb Township, Sterling Heights and Lake Orion will offer half-off to first responders Friday to mark Ed Wenzel taking over ownership of the Macomb Township location.</div><div><br></div><div>Dickey’s spokeswoman Callie Head said the company, which has 565 locations nationwide and nine in metro Detroit, regularly raises money for first first responders through its charitable organization, Barbecue Boots & Badges. First responders must wear his or her uniform or display their badge to receive the discount.</div><div><br></div><div>The deal will be offered from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. The eateries are located at 20755 Hall Road, at Heydenreich Road, in Macomb Township; 36669 Van Dyke Ave., near Metropolitan Parkway, Sterling Heights and 4761 S. Baldwin Road, near Interstate 75, Lake Orion.</div>
