FREEPORT, NY (Dec. 11, 2020) – This week award-winning barbecue joint Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened it’s first location in Freeport, NY near the long island coast.
Located at 397 West Sunrise HWY in Freeport, NY the new Dickey’s location is offering $3 Pulled Pork Classic Sandwiches in-store all month long and 15% off caterings of $150 or more.
“I’ve been a New Yorker my entire life and having grown up here I felt there was a need for more convenient, slow-smoked, competition-quality barbecue in the area,” said Scott Raifer Owner/Operator of the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in Freeport. “I’m proud to bring authentic Texas-style barbecue to the community and look forward to serving folks delicious comfort food through dine-in, carry-out, pick-up and delivery.”

The Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Freeport features a full menu of southern favorites including mac n cheese, creamed spinach, potato casserole and slow-smoked meats prepared and smoked on-site over hickory wood such as fall-off-the-bone ribs, competition-style brisket, jalapeño cheddar kielbasa sausage and more.
