Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Kicks Off the New Year with New Visalia Restaurant

(Visalia, CA) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Visalia will be open for business on Thursday, January 9 and the first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card for up to $50. The opening celebration continues for three-days. “This is a growing community with great people – we’ve received so much positive feedback,” said local franchise owner Kelly Brooks. “This area needed a new barbecue restaurant with top-notch quality food and service.” Friday, customers will enjoy a day full of merchandise giveaways. On Saturday, this location will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches and a chance to win a $500 gift card. Three customers will also win FREE barbecue for a year. Radio station 106.7 FM will also be onsite from noon to 2:00p.m. Owners, Donnie and Kelly Brooks are from Tulare. Prior to owning a Dickey’s Barbecue, Kelly worked in the field of education and Donnie worked for Southern California Edison. The couple plans to open another location in Tulare. This is the 41st Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to open in California.
