Dickey’s Multi-Unit Franchise Owner Opens Third Location in California

(Castro Valley, CA) On Wednesday, August 21 at 11 a.m. the new Dickey’s in Castro Valley will open its doors to all barbecue fans. The first 50 customers who purchase an item on that day will receive a Dickey’s gift card fully loaded with up to $50. “Dickey’s authentic pit-smoked barbecue has become a favorite on the West Coast,” said multi-unit owner Jimmy Lu, who also owns locations in Fremont and San Jose. “The Castro Valley community is very family-oriented and Dickey's is a perfect fit for this town.” On Thursday, customers will enjoy a day of free giveaways. The party finishes out on Friday, August 23 with a guest appearance by 95.3 KRTY and $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. “It’s exciting to be expanding the Dickey’s brand across northern California,” said Lu. “Customers enjoy Dickey’s authentic slow-smoked barbecue and keep coming back for more!” This new location is located at 3835 E. Castro Valley Blvd, right next to 24 Hour Fitness. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is showing no signs of slowing down. The nation’s fastest growing barbecue franchise opened in Hollister last Thursday.
