(Lancaster, CA) Lancaster native Jamie Bynum opens the nation’s largest barbecue chain, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, with a three-day grand opening celebration beginning Thursday, August 27. The barbecue bash includes barbecue deals, merchandise giveaways and three chances for guests to win free barbecue for a year.

The three-day grand opening includes:
· Thursday, August 27 kicks off with the first 50 guests receiving gift cards worth up to $50.
· Friday, August 28, radio station 102.7 KIIS FM will be on-site from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The new store will serve barbecue specials such as $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. One lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year.
· Saturday August 29 Guests can grab Dickey’s Barbecue goodies with all day merchandise giveaways.
A seasoned franchise owner, Jamie is excited to open the first Texas-style barbecue restaurant in Lancaster, and his second Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location. His other franchise is located in Palmdale. “We can’t wait to bring real Texas-style barbecue to the area,” says Jamie. “Our meats are slow smoked on-site with real hickory wood for up to 14 hours, which is why our barbecue tastes unbelievable.” Jamie looks forward to bring slow-smoked meats, home-style sides, and free ice cream to the Lancaster community every day.
