Texas Favorite Arrives in Corona with New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

(Corona, CA) On Thursday, April 30 at 11 a.m., the new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is hosting a three day grand opening to introduce the community to slow smoked Texas-style barbecue. There will be something for everyone including three chances to win free barbecue for a year, merchandise giveaways and barbecue discounts.
“It’s great seeing our footprint continue to expand in California,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “I love to see Texas barbecue take off across the country.”
Thursday, the event kicks off with the first 50 dine-in guests receiving gift cards worth up to $50. On Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., country station KOLA 99.9 will be on-site when one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners receive free barbecue for an entire year. Guests can also grab a deal with $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. On Saturday the new location will offer all day merchandise giveaways.
“I was looking for a strong and growing brand with excellent quality food. Dickey’s has some of the best barbecue I have ever tasted,” said local owner, Connie McKenney. “Corona is a great city, I’m excited about serving great barbecue and meeting new guests.”
