Let Dickey’s Barbecue Be Your MVP for Championship Gameday

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is announcing the recently transferred ownership of the Dickey’s store in Hesperia, CA.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has been serving the great folks of the Hesperia, CA community for over three years and are excited to continue offering Legit. Texas. Barbecue. under a new Owner/Operator, Perri Campbell. Perri has years of experience in the restaurant industry and is thrilled to take over as the new pitmaster at Dickeys. When asked about his decision to take over the store he said, “I’ve always been a fan of Dickey’s Barbecue. When the previous Owner decided to move on, I jumped at the opportunity to revamp the store and continue of offer delicious, pit-smoked barbecue to our community.”

After some payroll discrepancies with the previous Owner, the Dickey’ Corporate office immediately stepped in, alongside Perri, to rectify the situation and keep the store on track. The payroll issue was swiftly settled, and the Pit Crew is excited to be moving forward. Perri and his team have big plans to enhance the store, as well as improve the dining experience for their guests.

After years of serving the community of Tyler, Dickey’s Owner/Operator John Huml has decided to hang up his barbecue apron. “It’s time for me to retire, but it’s been a great 11 years serving barbecue to the Rose City. I’m happy to see that Dickey’s will stay a part of the Tyler community as I’m handing over the Pit-master reins to Doug Edwards, who has many years of barbecue experience,” said John.
 
The Tyler store located at 1501 W SW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701 will be taken over by existing Dickey’s Owner/Operator Douglas Edwards and his Pit Crew. “My team and I are excited to join the Tyler community. We’re taking the opportunity to make a few updates to the restaurant and then will be open and serving the same amazing barbecue that Dickey’s is known for, so please come see us. On September 8th, the new Dickey’s location opened their doors to a long line of hungry, barbecue fans. The Kickin’ Comeback Pulled Pork Sandwich is the Texas-style barbecue brand’s latest “cue’ creation” and will be available to their guests beginning July 10th for a limited time only. This delicious new item is a throwback full of Dickey’s famous slow-smoked pulled pork, topped with creamy coleslaw, mixed with their kickin' comeback sauce, and placed on a warm brioche bun.
